Quaint and attractive building in a peaceful spot near a 12th-century renovated monastery, the estuary, and public spaces. Plus, it's right by the river. 🌿

Beautiful setting on a river, nice grounds with outdoor seating and pool. Large room with lots of windows, comfortable seating area, and firm bed. Good breakfast included, cold buffet with fresh orange juice and good coffee. Nice young staff. Lovely old stone building exterior, modern interior in bedrooms. Small hotel with eight bedrooms. We will recommend to our friends.

We enjoyed the stunning view of the river from the trendy terrace. the hotel also had a great swimming pool and a beautiful garden with seating areas.
The wifi connection was poor, and there was no internet in the rooms, only in public areas.

Enjoyed the stunning view and surrounding scenery. the staff was friendly and very helpful when we needed to organize a taxi and a dinner reservation. the spacious rooms were clean and well equipped, with plenty of natural light and a relaxing atmosphere.
It would have been better if there were restaurant facilities on-site as it would save us the trouble of ordering food delivery after a long day. the walls between the room were thin, and we could hear rustling and snoring from the adjacent rooms.

Nestled in a beautifully converted ancient monastery on the estuary of a tranquil river, this hotel offers a dreamy escape to those who seek the charm of the past. the bathroom in the room is impeccable, and the staff provide excellent service with great breakfast options. Enjoy the sunset in style on the trendy terrace overlooking the river or have a refreshing swim in the great pool. Free parking is a bonus and the free Wi-Fi is available in the common area.
The hotel lacks a restaurant facility, which could be inconvenient for some guests.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. the location on the river was simply breathtaking, with stunning views over the estuary. Secondly, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Finally, the rooms were tastefully decorated and offered great views. I particularly loved waking up to the sight of the tidal beach right outside my window. As for breakfast, it was absolutely delightful, with a wide variety of choices to start the day off right.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was fantastic and I can't fault it in any way.

Spent Christmas here and it was lovely. The room overlooked the water and was very spacious. Breakfast had ample options, with fresh juices and pastries. The property was only a short walk from the town center, which was nice for exploring. the staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Although the location was great, dinner options in town were limited, especially on Christmas day. It would have been nice if the hotel had offered a dinner option for guests.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
